We are all too aware of the need for pastoral care for each and every one of us. This is especially important for the vulnerable and the elderly. Within our church community, we take pastoral care seriously and work closely with the friends and families of those in need of support.
We have a team of trained Community Chaplains, who are Christians with life experience and a mature faith. They have a flexible approach and are sensitive to problems presented to them. They do so with the support of our Vicar and work collaboratively to serve those living locally.

Many of them specialise in the following:

Hospital visiting
Supporting relationships, marriage, and family life
Support for children, young people, and their parents
Support during bereavement
Administering Holy Communion in Private and Residential Homes
Ministering at the time of Death
Support to those in later life and their carers
Support for those coping with physical or mental health problems
