We are all about making connections. We want to connect with God, each other, and you! As a church, we operate across 3 villages, Coedely, Tonyrefail, and Gilfach Goch. Our Vicar is Belinda Huxtable-Goy.
First and foremost, we are followers of Jesus who want to serve God and make Him known. We meet together to worship, pray, and grow closer together, offering support and friendship to one another.
Our three churches form with nine others to form the Llan Ministry Area.
Our Vision
Our group of twelve churches came together during an extraordinary time in 2020. The lockdown saw churches closed and services conducted online. This time has enabled us to reflect on our future as a church within the principality and more locally. The twelve churches in the group serve a large geographical area at the foot of the Rhondda Valley. As we draw closer together we will seek to be led further into following the teachings of Christ.
Our main aims are to:
grow our inclusive faith through prayer and worship
work alongside others in the community to tackle social inequality
seek in all things to be generous, inclusive, and inspirational
grow healthy and spiritual communities
Although our ministry area is fairly young, nevertheless contains within it over 1200 years of history and the stories of ten different saints.
